Emperor Qin Mausoleum 2/3...

This is from the top, and the location we were standing, is where Emperor Qin Tomb.  According to guide, till today, the actual mausoleum is not excavated.  Caught us by surprised, she explained that the technology now is still unable to cope with the preservation of the ancient tomb once it is opened.  They were afraid that the colors will fade, the condition will worsen if they go in blindly without adequate preservation plan. Therefore, the government had secured the area and they are still in the studying stage.

we were told, the tomb is xxxx meters deep. and in between 3 layers of underground water reservoir.  Till today, no one had figured out how did Emperor Qin's engineers had the knowledge to build such TOMB.  Our guide mentioned that the total area for the mausoleum is not only his tomb area space, it's the whole surrounding.  Behind his tomb is a famous mountain, in front is a huge lake, on his left was his imperial jade armor court, on his left is a buried legislation court.  They discovered mercury lake near the tomb too...

Question to guide: Why isnt there a tomb for the Empress?  She answered with a confident smile: Emperor Qin never gave any of his concubine the Empress title.  His distrust in men, resulted in his loneliness, but he was comfortable with it.  I asked if his concubine kicked a big fuss over the matter?  She said No one dares to do that, Emperor Qin will spare no such nonsense, he will order to behead anyone who dares defy him (even his best loved concubine).  Emperor Qin's concubines who had never bore him any children were all ordered to burial after his death.
